Although sports massage might give you a little less ‘ooh’ and a little more ‘ouch’ it is hugely beneficial and in order to get those benefits it can take heavy pressure, that may be uncomfortable from time to time but it’s necessary in order to open the muscle and ensure that you feel and move better. Every client is different, and we ensure that their treatment is bespoke to them and constantly evaluate the pressure.
The ultimate goal by using a holistic approach is to improve your soft tissue movement and mobility, reduce pain, tension and tightness as well as to encourage blood and lymphatic flow to reduce symptoms and prevent future injuries and that just the physical benefits.
